Program Summary:
Artificial Intelligence for government operations has become a reality in 2026. Local governments are considering how best to incorporate AI platforms to improve service delivery by assessing their policies, procedures, and available resources to ensure use of this technology is practical, applicable, and implementable. A panel of local government managers in southwest Florida will convene at FGCU to discuss the implications of AI, both in terms of challenges and opportunities and learn from each other’s experiences to date. This will be an informal discussion among the panelists. Attendees of this program will have plenty of opportunity to engage with the panelist by offering their own insights and pose questions for discussion.
