YOUNG ELECTED MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS

Florida League of Cities

The FLC's Young Elected Municipal Officials is a member-driven and member-focused network that is governed by an advisory council made up of 20 elected officials.

Founded in 2019, the Florida League of Cities, YEMO provides opportunities for young leaders to network, share best practices and resolve common concerns. This group was created by our membership and is a great way for younger leaders to become more involved in FLC and participate in targeted trainings and events specific to YEMO members.

YEMO provides resources young elected officials can use to learn more about how they can impact policy, enhance professional development, and elevate their political leadership. Events and trainings are held both virtually and at FLC signature events.
