FLC Insurance Summit

The Florida League of Cities’ annual Insurance Summit offers valuable training and education to local government staff responsible for insurance, risk management, and human resources. This event provides attendees with an overview of the current state of the Florida insurance market, as well as opportunities to network and discuss trends with professionals from peer organizations.

The Hidden Risks of Fatigue, Part 2: Operational Impacts on Police and Fire
This follow-up session takes a deeper look at how fatigue impacts police and fire personnel, including long shifts, overnight work, extended call volumes and irregular sleep schedules. Attendees will learn how fatigue affects decision-making, reaction time, situational awareness and safety.

The Five Most Expensive Issues Local Governments Face
This interactive session will focus on solutions for recurring and costly issues facing local governments. Risk and safety consultants will facilitate dialogue and share practical strategies to help organizations reduce losses and strengthen risk management.
