FCCMA Webinar: Retirement Planning Strategies For Different Career Stages

  • Dates: 04 – 04 Jan, 2018
  • Time: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Making thoughtful financial decisions to prepare for retirement (at all stages of our careers) are some of the most important decisions in life; yet, too often, little time is spent on this important responsibility due to other pressing issues and due to the lack of understanding of the options and resources available. This month’s webinar is for local government professionals representing all stages of their careers.

Retirement experts Hortensia Perez and Stephen Sallee will provide an informal and informative presentation that will address:

  1. Why and how you should begin saving for retirement and how to sort through the investment terminology to enable you to make prudent decisions.
  2. How to save for retirement when your budget is already stretched to meet family needs and how to know if you are on track to meet your retirement needs.
  3. What you should do to ensure you have enough money for retirement and to cover your health care costs and other family needs?
  4. How do you manage your retirement assets and what are the evolving and challenging decisions that need to be made during your retirement years?

  • Hortensia Perez, Certified Financial Planner, ICMA-RC
  • Jeff Young, Divisional Vice President, Wholesaler Affiliated Career Distribution, Valic Financial Advisors, Inc.
