Florida League of Cities Annual Salary Survey
|
The League partners annually with HR Management Partners, Inc. and the Florida Public Personnel Association (FPPA) to produce the FLC-FPPA statewide salary survey. The survey collects more than 20,000 job records from more than 250 participating organizations. Survey results and data entry are available online to all League members at www.surveys.us.
Don't miss out on this great opportunity to take advantage of a service that can save time and money in finding out what other city and county employees are paid, and what their benefits are. This is a useful tool come budget time; however, we need your data for the survey to be most effective! The Web site allows you to sign up via your e-mail and password. Follow the prompts carefully, and you will be able to view minimum and maximum salary ranges; job descriptions; titles; and comparisons of duties within jobs by county, population or statewide. This online version enables you to customize surveys, order charted reports and search the data according to your needs. Survey results may also be downloaded in Excel spreadsheet format. The surveys.us utility provides several reporting and search options. Technical support is available by e-mail but if you have questions, please contact us at 1-(800) 342-8112, ext. 115, or via e-mail.
If you have any trouble with a password for the salary survey, please contact the League's Membership Development Department at 1-(800) 342-8112.
If your agency has already participated, you do not need to do anything further!
This is an important tool that is used by people all over the state, including the press. Please make sure that the data you enter is CORRECT. Once the data is entered, next year you can apply a percentage increase across the board, or the survey has other built-in tools to help make updating much quicker than the original entry process. Also, remember that you do not need to complete the entire survey at one time. You may log in as many times as is necessary to complete the surveys. If your agency participated in last year's survey, you can simply update your existing data manually - or by percentage adjustments for specifc jobs.
You will be glad that you took the time now to enter this data carefully. We appreciate your participation in this important statewide study and look forward to sharing the results with you!
