    Datagram Positions Open guidelines:
The Florida League of Cities provides a section in its newsletter, Datagram, to advertise positions. This is a complimentary service for League members. For non members, there is a charge of $50.00 per ad, per issue. The deadline for ad copy is three business days before publication of the Datagram, which comes out the 15th and last day of each month. An abbreviated version of the ad will appear in the faxed and e-mailed version of the Datagram, and the entire ad will be posted on the Datagram section of the League's Web site the same day the printed version is distributed. Click here to view the online version of the Datagram. We do not post ads on the Web in between issues of the Datagram. The advertisement must be for a division-head level position and above. Please note that Datagram copy is edited twice a month. If you send a non division-head level position, you may only receive little notice that the ad won't be published, so please be sure the ad fits our guidelines. If there is no closing date for the position, please include how many issues in which the ad should run. If the position is filled before the ad is supposed to stop running, please notify the League as soon as possible, and mention the date the ad started running. If your city's population is not in the ad, please include it. Please do not send the job description in all caps, and please avoid sending documents with graphics, text boxes, etc. Also, please do not send the ad in a PDF format. The most effective way to send the ad is in a Word document in plain text or in the body of an e-mail. Also, please send us your final version of the ad in your initial contact. We cannot make last-minute changes to any ads - if you anticipate a change, please wait until the ad is ready to send it to us. Please e-mail the ad to Mandy Stark, and contact her with any questions. *If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please check with Mandy. She may have not received the ad, and therefore it might not run.
