Meet the International Relations Committee (IRC)
Formed in 1999, this standing committee is appointed by the president of the Florida League of Cities (FLC), who serves as an ex-officio member. Members must be elected or appointed municipal officials. City, village or town population is not relevant for serving, nor is international experience.

Appointment remains in effect until a member leaves office or chooses to become active in other areas and submits a resignation to the chairman or the League president.

The committee meets during the FLC Annual and Legislative Conferences. Additional meetings are called if necessary. Headed by a chairman, the committee also has a vice chairman.
