Sixty percent of Florida's municipalities have a population of 10,000 or less.
The largest city is Jacksonville, by population (816,648) and square miles (800-plus).
The smallest cities are Marineland (population 10) and Weekie Wachee (population eight).
Cities represent 50.5 percent of the state population; 49.5 percent of the state is unincorporated.
Forty-five cities have a population of 500 or less; 19 cities have a population of 100,000 or more.
Since 1990, 23 cities have incorporated.
