Did You Know... Windermere

Did you know Windermere has one of Florida's oldest schoolhouses? Built in 1890, the building served as the city's first school and as a community center for religious and social activities. The schoolhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and sits on one of three undeveloped lots that remain as they were in 1900.
