Did you know how the Town of Medley got its name?
The Town of Medley's name was chosen by residents to honor early settler Sylvester Medley. Medley "brought his cow up the creek" and began farming in the area in 1905. He remained in the town until his death in 1950. Residents felt that not only were they honoring a founder, but selecting a very pretty name.
