ABCs of City Government
|
The Florida League of Cities is pleased to make available this educational material about city government for the elementary school level (grades 2-5). The ABCs of City Government will assist educators as they teach these important issues to their students, and city government officials as they work with local youth in helping to increase an understanding of city government in Florida.
The Florida League of Cities would like to thank the writers — Lyla Springfield, Leon County Schools, and Carolyn Jones, a counselor at Bond Elementary School, Leon County Schools — for their help with this project.

If you have any comments and/or suggestions about this material, would like a print version of the ABCs book, or if you would like information about the League’s other educational projects, please e-mail the Florida League of Cities Membership Development Department.
