| Alerts and Information:In response to President Obama’s proposal for a federal economic stimulus bill for infrastructure, the Florida League of Cities asked Florida’s cities to provide a list of municipal infrastructure projects that are “shovel ready” or ready to go to bid within 120 days of federal legislation being enacted. Click here to access the projects that were submitted. Of the 155 cities that responded, over 1500 projects were submitted totaling over $10 billion. Of that, cities estimated over 70,000 jobs could be created for those municipal infrastructure projects. |
