Chuck graduated from Kansas State in 1973 and spent the next four years training, showing, and selling Arabian and American Saddle-bred horses. In 1976, his own Ozark Joy, became a world champion “Jr. Fine Harness Horse.” In early 1978, Chuck joined the Xerox Corporation and became a graduate of their famous corporate training system. He progressed in the field of sales and service until he became the fifth rated new business representative for Xerox, worldwide, in 1982. In 1985, Chuck became a licensed insurance agent, working with Reidman Insurance, one of the largest privately owned insurance agencies in the country. During this period Chuck developed an interest in municipal insurance, which eventually led him to join the Florida League of Cities as our Southern Florida representative, in January of 1996.
