FLORIDA MUNICIPAL INSURANCE TRUST COVERAGES
The Florida Municipal Insurance Trust provides a full line of insurance products designed specifically for the unique exposures of governmental entities. Begun in 1977 to assist municipalities having difficulty procuring workers compensation coverage, the Trust has grown to include Property, General Liability, Automobile, Inland Marine, Public Officials Errors & Omission, and Law Enforcement Legal Coverage, as well as competitive Life, Health, Vision, Short Term Disability, and Dental products.
Today, the Florida Municipal Insurance Trust is the largest provider of municipal insurance in the State of Florida, insuring over 500 cities, counties, housing authorities, fire districts, or other special tax districts.
