Florida Municipal Officials Alumni Association
FMOAA Logo
Every year, a number of Florida's elected officials leave office for several reasons. Most of these individuals are passionate advocates of their cities and wish to remain involved in the political process that compelled them to serve. Also, many long-lasting friendships are developed over the years of shared meetings and conferences with fellow elected officials from around the state.

Unfortunately, after an official left office, there was no way for them to stay informed and in touch with peers - until now.

The Florida Municipal Officials Alumni Association (FMOAA) was formed to provide fellowship to former elected city officials who wish to remain involved and in touch with their friends and peers.

And advisory committee chaired by former Orlando Mayor Glenda Hood has been established and is made up primarily of Florida League of Cities past presidents who are no longer in office. We are very excited about the future potential of this organization.

If you are, or someone you know of is, a former elected official and you would like to be involved with FMOAA please contact Mark Sittig via e-mail or at (850) 222-9684.
