<p>Electrical Contractors (Watch)</p><p> SB 446 (Gibson) and HB 295 (Mercado) allow a city or county to require an electric journeyman to be present on an industrial or commercial new construction site when electrical work in excess of 77 volts is being performed in order to supervise or perform such work.  Under current law, they may only be required on a worksite with a facility of 50,000 gross square feet or more.
